Instructor Resources
Tools to help you integrate Dbriefs U into your courses.

Program guide (tri-fold brochure)
Each fall and spring semester we publish a program guide for students that describes each webcast and how to get started. Complimentary copies of this guide are available to professors to share with their students. Just send an email to dbriefsu@deloitte.com with the quantity needed and mailing address. You may also link to or download the program guide here to post a PDF on your course Web site:

Supplemental material
Each webcast is accompanied by supplemental material for instructors to facilitate easy course integration. In addition to questions that can be used for in-class discussions or quizzes, the material includes a learning activity such as a case study, problem, or Internet research task. This material is available in PDF format next to each webcast description. To receive the solutions, send a request to dbriefsu@deloitte.com with the topics you need.

Attendance reporting
Should you decide to assign credit to your students, we can provide reporting showing the students who viewed the webcasts, how long they viewed, and how they answered a series of questions posed during the presentation. Complete the form here to request reporting anytime. Please note: Viewing activity is updated weekly each Sunday night so please plan your assignment due dates accordingly.

Teaching examplesquote
Professors participating in Dbriefs U have developed numerous ways of integrating the webcasts into their coursework. Here are a few examples to help guide and inspire you to utilize Dbriefs U in your college courses.
  • Writing assignment: After viewing webcasts students submit written answers to questions provided or summaries of key takeaways.
  • Extra credit: Students can get extra credit by viewing webcasts and answering poll questions. Pre-work assignment: Students view webcast in advance of class lecture on same topic.
  • Group assignment: In small groups, students view webcast and then present what they learned to the class to build presentation skills.
  • "Reading" assignment: Students view webcasts as required "reading" and are tested on what they learned by answering related questions on a mid-term or final exam.
